Fender American Professional Jazz Bass RW Oxblood

Jazz Bass Punch with a Slim Rosewood-Board Neck and Smooth Passive Control

The Fender American Professional Jazz Bass pairs two V-Mod III single coils with the familiar Dual Volume + Master Tone control layout, giving you direct control over how much of each pickup you hear. You can lean into either pickup or blend the two together for a broader balance of punch and clarity, with ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers providing a smooth, consistent sweep.

The Maple neck has a Slim “C” profile, rolled Rosewood fingerboard edges and a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish on the back. Its 241 mm (9.5") radius, 20 Narrow Tall frets and 38.1 mm (1.5") Bone nut keep the neck compact and comfortable, while the sculpted heel makes the upper register easier to reach across the 864 mm (34") scale.

The Alder body wears an Oxblood polyurethane finish with a 3-ply Black pickguard. A 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge supports either string-through-body or top-load stringing, and a Deluxe Moulded Case is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Jazz Bass is a great choice for players who want the familiar flexibility of independent pickup blending with a slim Rosewood-board neck and straightforward passive controls.
