Fender American Professional Jazz Bass MN Aged Cherry Burst

Jazz Bass Clarity with a Slim Neck and Flexible Stringing Feel

The Fender American Professional Jazz Bass builds around the punch and clarity players expect from a Jazz Bass, with a pair of V-Mod III single coils and the familiar Dual-Volume / Single-Tone control layout. Blending the two pickup volumes lets you shift the balance between them rather than being tied to fixed pickup combinations, while ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers give the controls a smooth, consistent sweep.

The Maple neck uses a Slim “C” profile with rolled fingerboard edges and a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish on the back. Combined with the 241 mm (9.5") Maple fingerboard, 20 Narrow Tall frets and 38.1 mm (1.5") Bone nut, it keeps the neck feeling compact and easy to move around across the 864 mm (34") scale.

The Ash body wears an Aged Cherry Burst polyurethane finish with a 4-ply Aged White Pearloid pickguard. A 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge lets you choose between string-through-body and top-load stringing. A Deluxe Moulded Case is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Jazz Bass is a strong fit for players who want the familiar two-pickup flexibility and clear attack of a Jazz Bass with a slim neck and a choice of bridge stringing setups.
