Fender American Professional Jaguar RW Oxblood

Short-Scale Jag Feel with Broader Pickup and Tremolo Range

The Fender American Professional Jaguar keeps the compact, slinkier response of a 610 mm (24") short scale while expanding the sounds available from its two V-Mod III Jaguar single coils. The bridge pickup can move between a stronger, throatier voice and a lower-output vintage-style setting via the push-push tone control, giving you two distinct bridge characters from the same pickup.

The lead circuit uses Master Volume, Master Tone and a 3-position toggle, while the rhythm circuit switches both pickups into series for a thicker, higher-output sound. Separate thumbwheel volume and tone controls let you shape that series voice independently, making it easy to jump between clearer Jag textures and something denser without swapping guitars or using pedals.

The Deep “C” Maple neck has rolled Rosewood fingerboard edges, a 241 mm (9.5") radius and 22 Narrow Tall frets, with a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish on the back. The Alder body is finished in Oxblood with a 3-ply Black pickguard, while the Panorama Jazzmaster Tremolo with pop-in arm and ClassicGear J-Bridge handle everything from subtle vibrato to deeper dives. A Deluxe Moulded Case is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Jaguar is for players who want the easy bends and softer tension of a short-scale Jag but with considerably more tonal range built into the controls.
