Fender American Professional Jaguar RW Black

Short-Scale Jaguar Feel with Series Switching and a Wider Tremolo Range

The Fender American Professional Jaguar pairs the relaxed feel of a 610 mm (24") short scale with an expanded version of the Jaguar control layout. Lower string tension makes bends easier and gives the guitar a softer response under the fingers, while two V-Mod III Jaguar single coils retain the sparkle and chime associated with the design.

The bridge pickup can be tapped from a stronger, throatier voice to a lower-output vintage-style sound using the push-push tone control. Flip the rhythm circuit and both pickups run in series for a thicker, higher-output tone, with independent volume and tone roller pots giving that circuit its own adjustment.

The Deep “C” Maple neck has rolled Rosewood fingerboard edges, a 241 mm (9.5") radius and 22 Narrow Tall frets, with a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish on the back. The Black Alder body is paired with a 4-ply Tortoiseshell pickguard, while the Panorama Jazzmaster Tremolo and ClassicGear J-Bridge handle everything from gentle warble to deeper dives. A Deluxe Moulded Case is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Jaguar is especially appealing for players who want short-scale Fender feel with more tonal range and a tremolo system built for broader expressive movement.
