Vintage P Bass Punch with a Smoother, More Refined Neck

The Fender American Professional II Precision Bass keeps the direct, authoritative response that makes a P Bass so useful while refining the feel for modern playing. Its V-Mod II split-coil pickup delivers warm lows, punchy mids and clear note definition, giving fingerstyle lines, pick playing and driven bass tones plenty of presence without complicating the control layout.

The Maple neck uses a 1963 C profile with rolled Rosewood fingerboard edges and a smooth satin urethane back, making position changes feel natural across longer sets. A 241 mm (9.5”) radius, 20 narrow tall frets and 864 mm (34”) scale provide familiar full-scale tension with good control for bends, vibrato and articulate fretting.

The Alder body is finished in Mystic Surf Green, while the sculpted heel improves access higher up the neck. A four-saddle HiMass Vintage bridge supports either string-through-body or top-load setups, and tapered-shaft tuners help maintain a consistent break angle over the bone nut. A Deluxe Moulded Case is included.
