The Fender American Jazz Bass Pre-Slotted Micarta String Nut set includes two high-quality Micarta synthetic bone nuts for electric basses with modern 241 mm (9.5”) radius fingerboards. These nuts are used on the American Standard Jazz Bass and other U.S.- and Mexico-made basses.

The pre-slotted string location grooves help simplify spacing and positioning before the final string slot filing is completed. This gives repairers and bass techs a clearer starting point when replacing a worn nut, correcting string spacing, or preparing a compatible bass for proper setup work.

Each nut has a 241 mm (9.5”) top radius, 184 mm (7.25”) bottom radius and 38.86 mm (1.53”) width. Some filing and shaping modification may be required to ensure proper fit and performance.
