The Fender American Coastline ’60 Precision Bass Pickup is based on Fender Pure Vintage designs, with a slightly overwound voice for added warmth, focus and punch. It retains the classic Precision Bass character of booming lows and punchy midrange while adding greater tonal depth and harmonic richness.

Alnico 5 bevelled magnets provide focused dynamics, while Formvar-coated magnet wire gives the pickup a brighter tone with enhanced high-frequency response. Flush-mount, bevelled non-staggered pole pieces help create vintage-style string-to-string blending for a more even feel across the bass.

Period-correct cloth-covered lead wire and fibre bobbin construction add to the original-era design, while wax potting helps resist feedback and protect the internal wiring. This black, moderate-output split single-coil pickup is made in the USA and has 11.28k DC resistance, 6.42 Henries inductance and installation hardware included.
