A Centre-Detent 100K Linear Pot for Fender Active Bass Mid Control

The Fender 100K B Taper Mid Boost Linear Pot is a genuine CTS-made replacement potentiometer commonly used as the midrange control in active Fender bass electronics. Designed for Deluxe and American Deluxe Series basses from both the U.S. and Mexico, it provides the rotary control used to boost or cut the mids in the onboard preamp.

Its 100K B-taper response is linear, giving the control an even progression through its range rather than the steeper change associated with an audio-taper pot. A centre detent provides a physical click at the midpoint, so you can locate the neutral or flat EQ position by feel without needing to look at the knob.

The pot uses a 6.35 mm (1/4") solid brass shaft for set-screw control knobs, along with a compact mini-pot body and 3/8-32 threaded bushing. The 6.35 mm (1/4") bushing length suits installation through compatible control plates or pickguards.
