A one-piece quartersawn bolt-on neck, with graphite reinforcement rods, combined with an arched Quilt Maple-topped basswood body gives you tone to spare, while you shred for days in comfort. The neck is carved and rolled to Van Halen's exact specifications and finished in a hand-rubbed urethane. A 22 jumbo-fret 12"-16" compound radius fingerboard maximises playability. Two flagship model custom-designed black direct mounted EVH Wolfgang Alnico II humbuckers, a Floyd Rose Locking trem and R2 locking nut give you dives dripping with tone and sustain. Plus the EVH D-Tuna lets you switch between drop and standard tuning with the flick of a finger. The volume knob with treble bleed circuit has a 500K EVH Bourns low friction pot for smooth swells and a tone control knob with a 250K Bourns high friction tone pot that prevents accidental tone shifting.
