The EVH Wolfgang Special in Caution Yellow is built for players who need fast response, strong tuning stability, and clear high-output tone. Its basswood body with arched top keeps the guitar focused and controlled, while the graphite-reinforced quartersawn baked maple neck adds rigidity for dependable performance under aggressive playing.
The ebony fingerboard has a 12" to 16" compound radius, giving the lower frets a comfortable feel for rhythm work while flattening higher up the neck for bends, fast runs, and lead phrasing. Jumbo frets, a hand-rubbed satin neck back, and a heel-mounted spoke wheel truss rod adjustment all support a playing experience aimed at speed, access, and easy setup control.
Direct-mount EVH Wolfgang humbuckers deliver an articulate, sustaining voice, with the body-mounted design helping transfer string energy directly into the guitar. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo, R2 locking nut, brass tremolo block, and D-Tuna give the Wolfgang Special strong pitch stability for wide tremolo use and quick drop-D changes.
