EVH D-Tuna Black

Instant Drop D Switching for Floyd Rose-Style Tremolo Guitars

The EVH D-Tuna lets you switch your low E string down to D and back again in seconds, giving you fast access to Drop D without stopping to manually retune between songs. Designed for Floyd Rose-style tremolo systems, it provides a simple mechanical way to move between standard tuning and Drop D from the bridge.

The D-Tuna has been used on Eddie Van Halen’s personal guitars and on signature locking-tremolo models since the early 1990s. The kit includes the EVH D-Tuna unit, two string-lock screws, one spring and a fine-tuning Allen wrench, giving you the core hardware needed for installation.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this tremolo accessory is particularly useful for players who regularly move between standard tuning and Drop D and want to make that change quickly from a compatible Floyd Rose-style bridge.
