Extended-Scale Les Paul Feel with Three Distinct Fluence Voices

The Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul in Forest Phantom Satin reshapes the Les Paul around a more modern playing design. Its mahogany body uses Ultra Modern weight relief beneath a maple cap and highly flamed maple veneer, while the rear belly carve softens the way the guitar sits against you. Around the neck joint, a Modern Contoured Heel opens up access to the upper frets without losing the familiar Les Paul silhouette.

A thermally aged one-piece maple neck brings a different feel to the platform, using Epiphone’s HyperGlide profile together with graphite reinforcement and a 647.7 mm (25.5") scale. That extra scale length increases tension compared with a traditional 24.75" Les Paul setup, helping drop-tuned notes retain definition and a firmer response. The bound ebony fingerboard progresses from a 254 mm (10") to 355.6 mm (14") compound radius and carries 24 stainless-steel frets, giving the playing surface plenty of room for both rhythm work and technical lead playing.

The custom-voiced Fishman Fluence humbuckers provide three separate tonal personalities. Voice 1 delivers the modern high-output active character, while Voice 2 moves towards a vintage PAF-inspired humbucker response. Pulling the individual volume controls selects Voice 3, providing the optimised single-coil-inspired sound for that pickup, while the push/pull tone controls handle the change between Voices 1 and 2. Combined with the three-way selector, that makes the electronics far more flexible than a standard Les Paul control layout.

Black Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners, a GraphTech nut and LockTone Modern Tune-O-Matic bridge form the core hardware package. The through-body Frequensator-influenced tailpiece is designed to balance string tension and sustain, while Posi-Lok strap buttons add security for stage use. Black hardware and black mother-of-pearl block inlays give the Forest Phantom Satin finish a particularly dark, modern presentation.
