Deep Spruce/Rosewood Tone with Stage-Ready Electronics

The Epiphone Marcus King Signature El Dorado combines a solid Spruce top with solid Rosewood back and sides for a full dreadnought voice with deep lows, clear highs and plenty of room for strong strumming. Its square-shoulder body also has the projection needed for flatpicked lines and vocal accompaniment.

The Mahogany neck uses a comfortable C profile, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard, 304.8 mm (12”) radius and 20 standard frets. A 648 mm (25.51”) scale gives the strings a firm, responsive feel, while the bone nut and compensated bone saddle support clean articulation and accurate intonation.

An L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle pickup and preamp make the guitar ready for amplified performances, with discreet volume and tone controls positioned along the soundhole edge. Marcus King details include the large custom pickguard, rounded-corner mother-of-pearl block inlays and Tennessee and South Carolina bridge inlays.
