Epiphone Mandobird Firebird-Shaped Mandolin w/ Pickup Vintage Sunburst - E1MDBVSNH1
Firebird Styling with Plug-In Electric Mandolin Tone
The Epiphone Mandobird takes the familiar four-string mandolin format into solidbody electric territory with a Reverse Firebird-inspired Nato body and a single Epiphone Firebird pickup. Master volume and tone controls keep the setup direct, giving bluegrass and Western swing mandolin players an easy route into amplified sounds while also offering guitarists a compact platform for exploring mandolin tuning and textures.
The bolt-on Mahogany neck has a C profile, Laurel fingerboard and 304.8 mm (12") radius, with 21 Narrow Medium frets across a 350 mm (13.78") scale. Trapezoid inlays complement the Firebird styling, while the reverse Firebird headstock carries four Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.
A four-string top-mounted bridge feeds the strings through the body, while Chrome hardware, a White Firebird-logo pickguard and Vintage Sunburst finish complete the look. An Epiphone gig bag is included.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this electric mandolin is ideal for players who want traditional four-string mandolin tuning with solidbody construction, straightforward electric controls and unmistakable Firebird styling.
