’60s Les Paul Tone with SlimTaper Speed

The Epiphone Inspired By Les Paul Standard ’60s Ebony combines a mahogany body with a maple cap to deliver the thick midrange warmth and singing sustain associated with traditional Les Paul construction. Mahogany provides depth and harmonic richness, while the maple top adds clarity and attack, helping notes remain defined under gain. With no weight relief, the body retains a solid feel and extended sustain that responds well to both dynamic clean playing and driven tones.

The glued-in mahogany neck features a SlimTaper 60s C profile, offering a slimmer carve that supports faster lead work compared to fuller neck shapes. A 24.75" (628.65 mm) scale length contributes to a slightly softer string tension, aiding expressive bends and vibrato. The bound rosewood fingerboard with a 12" (304.8 mm) radius and 22 medium jumbo frets provides comfortable chord grip and smooth bending response.

ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 humbuckers deliver balanced output, with the bridge pickup offering added bite and drive while the neck remains warm and rounded. Individual volume and tone controls with CTS potentiometers allow precise tonal shaping. LockTone Tune-O-Matic and Stop Bar hardware, Grover Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut enhance tuning stability. Supplied in a premium gig bag.
