The mahogany construction provides warmth and strong midrange presence, while the maple top adds brightness and definition that keeps chords and lead lines clear. This combination gives the Epiphone Inspired By Les Paul Standard 50s Figured a balanced voice that works equally well for clean tones, edge-of-breakup rhythm, and thicker overdriven sounds.

The mahogany neck uses a 1959 Rounded Medium C profile, creating a substantial but comfortable grip that supports relaxed fretting and confident bends. A rosewood fingerboard with a 12 inch radius and medium jumbo frets offers a smooth playing surface suited to both rhythm playing and expressive lead work.
