The Epiphone Inspired By Explorer ’80s EMG Ebony delivers high-output precision in a solid mahogany platform built for sustain and impact. The mahogany body and glued-in set neck create a dense tonal foundation with strong midrange presence and extended note bloom. A 24.75" (628.65 mm) scale length slightly reduces string tension compared to longer-scale designs, resulting in a smoother feel under bends and fast riffing.

The 60s SlimTaper neck profile offers a fast, comfortable carve suited to technical rhythm work and lead playing. A 12" (304.8 mm) radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets supports clean fretting and controlled vibrato. The EMG 81 bridge pickup delivers tight low-end response and cutting upper mids for articulate high-gain tones, while the EMG 60 neck pickup provides thicker sustain and fluid lead character.
