The Epiphone 1964 SG Standard Reissue w/ Maestro Vibrola in Cherry Red is a faithful recreation of one of Gibson’s most iconic solid-body models. Made in collaboration with Gibson Custom, this Inspired by Gibson Custom release captures the vintage vibe of the legendary 1964 SG, from its centre-seamed two-piece mahogany body and long tenon neck joint, to its aged mother-of-pearl inlays and bound rosewood fretboard. The SlimTaper neck is fast and comfortable, while the Maestro Vibrola adds vintage-correct expression. USA Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets and hand-wired CTS pots and Black Beauty caps deliver era-authentic tone. Finished in Vintage Gloss with nickel hardware and housed in a premium Inspired by Gibson Custom hardshell case, this is the most accurate SG reissue Epiphone has ever produced.
