Thick Humbucker Response With a Full 1959-Style Neck Feel
The Epiphone Inspired By Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Golden Poppy Burst is a Les Paul built for players who want a dense, sustaining response with traditional playability. The mahogany body provides midrange weight, while the maple top with AAA flamed maple veneer adds definition to the attack so chords and lead lines stay clear under gain. Two Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnets deliver a broad, open humbucker voice suited to blues, rock and expressive lead work.
The one-piece mahogany neck uses a 1959 Rounded C Medium profile, giving the fretting hand a fuller grip than slimmer modern neck shapes. A rosewood fingerboard, 43 mm (1.69") Graph Tech nut and 628.65 mm (24.75") scale length support familiar Les Paul tension and smooth note bending. The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, historical aluminium tailpiece, CTS potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors keep the control response direct and usable when shaping volume and tone from the guitar.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this guitar is best for players who want a substantial feeling neck, strong humbucker sustain and vintage-leaning control response in a stage-ready Les Paul format.
