The Epiphone Inspired by Custom Shop 1957 SJ-200 Reissue in Vintage Sunburst faithfully recreates the original jumbo acoustic with high-end tonewoods and craftsmanship. It’s built with a thermally aged solid Sitka spruce top and solid figured maple back and sides, delivering full, warm projection with sparkling clarity. A two-piece flame maple neck with walnut stringer offers stability and comfort, paired with an ebony fingerboard featuring mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays. Period-accurate details such as scalloped X-bracing, multi-ply binding, the SG-200 rosewood moustache bridge and engraved pickguard complete the look. It also includes an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC pickup system with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, and comes supplied in a Red Line-style hardshell case.
