Crafted in collaboration with Gibson Custom, this guitar pays homage to the iconic design by legendary automotive designer Ray Dietrich. The Firebird, Gibson's first neck-through-body model, gained fame in the hands of blues legend Johnny Winter, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, and more. This Epiphone version offers vintage specs at a more accessible price, featuring a 9-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through-body with mahogany body wings. Kluson planetary geared “banjo” tuners and a Wraparound Lightning Bar bridge ensure exceptional sustain. Premium electronics include a Gibson USA Firebird mini humbucker pickup with Alnico 5 magnets and CTS potentiometers, delivering classic Firebird I tone. Complete with a hardshell case, it's a remarkable recreation of a timeless classic.
