Dual EMG 81 Power in a Pre-Wired Kirk Hammett Pickguard

The EMG KH21 Kirk Hammett Signature Pre-Wired Pickguard puts a pair of EMG 81 active humbuckers into a complete dual-humbucker Pro-Series setup. Both pickups use powerful ceramic magnets and close-aperture coils, with the combination voiced for detailed intensity, pronounced high-end cut and fluid sustain.

Using an EMG 81 in both positions keeps the same pickup design available at the bridge and neck while still giving you independent level control through two Volume knobs. A single Master Tone handles overall tonal adjustment, keeping the control layout straightforward when switching between rhythm and lead sounds.

The complete system comes pre-wired to a custom 11-hole 3-ply White Pearloid pickguard with contrasting black knobs, combining the pickups, controls and finished pickguard into one assembly.
