EMG KH20 Kirk Hammett Signature Pre-Wired Pickguard Active HSS Pickup Set 3-Ply White Pearloid PG

Pre-Wired HSS Power with an EMG 81 and Dual S Single Coils

The EMG KH20 Kirk Hammett Signature Pre-Wired Pickguard combines an EMG 81 bridge humbucker with a pair of EMG S single-coil pickups in an active HSS layout. All three pickups use ceramic bar magnets, giving the set the tight, controlled response and strong sustain associated with Kirk Hammett’s signature setup.

The EMG 81 handles the bridge position with the focused attack and searing harmonic response suited to heavier rhythm and lead work, while the two S single coils broaden the available sounds when you move through the neck and middle positions. With the complete assembly already wired, the controls are kept straightforward with a Master Volume and single Tone control.

The KH20 is mounted to a custom 11-hole 3-ply White Pearloid pickguard, with contrasting black control knobs for a distinctive finished look.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this pre-wired active HSS pickup set is ideal for players who want Kirk Hammett’s EMG combination in one ready-assembled pickguard, with the 81’s focused bridge sound balanced by two ceramic single coils.
