EMG HET JH James Hetfield Signature Active Humbucker Pickup Set Floyd Rose Spacing 52mm Gold

Hetfield’s JH Active Voice with 52 mm Floyd Rose Spacing and Gold Caps

The EMG JH James Hetfield Signature Set brings together the JH-N neck and JH-B bridge pickups in an active humbucker pair developed to keep the output and immediacy of EMGs while adding more passive-style punch and clarity. In the neck, the JH-N uses individual ceramic poles with larger, taller cores than the EMG 60 design, increasing attack and output while filling out the low end.

The JH-B bridge pickup uses steel pole pieces instead of the bar magnets found in an EMG 81. This reduces inductance, helping the bottom end stay cleaner and more controlled while preserving the tight response needed for articulate rhythm work and focused lead playing.

This version uses 52 mm Floyd Rose spacing for compatible guitars with wider bridge string spacing, finished with Gold stainless steel Metal Works caps. EMG’s Solderless Install System is included with two 25k Volume pots, two 25k Tone pots, battery bus, stereo output jack, two-pickup in/out bus, mounting hardware and the required connection cables.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this active humbucker set is a great match for players who need 52 mm spacing and want the JH set’s tight attack, defined low end and high-output response in a polished Gold finish.
