EMG HET JH James Hetfield Signature Active Humbucker Pickup Set Floyd Rose Spacing 52mm Brushed Black Chrome

Hetfield’s JH Active Set with 52 mm Floyd Rose Spacing

The EMG JH James Hetfield Signature Set combines the output and immediacy of an active pickup with more of the punch and clarity associated with passive designs. The JH-N neck pickup uses individual ceramic poles with larger, taller cores than the EMG 60 design, giving it increased attack, higher output and a fuller low end.

The JH-B bridge pickup uses steel pole pieces rather than the bar magnets found in an EMG 81. This reduces inductance for a cleaner bottom end while retaining the tight attack that keeps heavy rhythm parts and lead lines defined. This version uses 52 mm Floyd Rose spacing, matching the wider bridge string spacing found on compatible Floyd Rose-equipped guitars.

Brushed Black Chrome stainless steel Metal Works caps give the set a dark, understated finish. EMG’s Solderless Install System is included with two 25k Volume pots, two 25k Tone pots, battery bus, stereo output jack, two-pickup in/out bus, mounting hardware and the required pickup, connection, output and battery cables.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this active humbucker set is particularly well suited to players who need 52 mm bridge spacing and want high output, a tight bridge response and fuller neck tone without giving up definition.
