EMG 81 / 60 Original Logo 50th Anniversary Active HH Humbucker Pickup Set Short Shaft 10mm Black

Classic 81/60 Active Pairing with EMG’s Original Anniversary Logo

The EMG 81 / 60 Original Logo 50th Anniversary Set brings together two of EMG’s established active humbuckers in a limited 2026 release. Finished in Black with the original EMG logo, this version uses short-shaft 10 mm controls and pairs the 81 bridge pickup with the 60 neck pickup.

The 81 is voiced for tight response, long sustain and strong high-end cut, giving the bridge position the attack and definition needed for heavier rhythm and lead work. The 60 takes a different approach at the neck, adding clear upper frequencies and rich harmonics for a more articulate lead and clean sound when you switch positions.

EMG’s Solderless Install System is included with two 25k Volume pots, two 25k Tone pots, battery bus, stereo output jack, two-pickup in/out bus, mounting screws and springs, pickup cables, connect cables, output cable and battery cable.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this active humbucker set is a strong fit for players who want the focused attack of an 81 bridge with a clearer, more harmonic neck voice, plus the limited original-logo treatment created for EMG’s 50th anniversary.
