The EMG DG20 Pro Pre-Wired Pickguard combines three ivory Alnico-loaded SA active single-coil pickups with dedicated EXG and SPC tone-shaping controls. The SA pickups provide a rich, dynamic response, while the EXG Guitar Expander boosts treble and bass frequencies for broader, more open sounds. The SPC presence control works in the opposite direction, bringing forward warmth and midrange depth when you want a thicker Strat voice.

Rather than relying on pedals or amplifier EQ for every tonal shift, the DG20 puts useful shaping directly on the guitar. That makes it easy to move from clearer, wider single-coil sounds to fuller lead tones while retaining the consistent response of an active pickup system.

The complete assembly comes pre-wired on an 11-hole three-ply Black/White/Black pickguard with Ivory pickups. EMG’s solderless installation system simplifies connection during fitting, with the controls and pickups already wired together.
