Polyrhythmic Modulation for Deep Stereo Sound Design

The Electro-Harmonix Mod Rex is a digital modulation pedal for guitarists, synth players and electronic musicians who want multiple rhythmic effects moving together in time. It combines four independent modulation sections: MOD, Tremolo, Pan and Filter, letting you build layered sounds that shift, pulse, sweep and move across a stereo field.

The MOD section gives you a choice of vibrato, flanger, chorus or phaser, with Depth control and Feedback for the flanger and phaser. Tremolo modulates volume, Pan moves between left and right in stereo, and the Filter section offers modulated low-pass, high-pass or band-pass filtering. Each section has four LFO shape options and nine tempo subdivision choices, so the modulation can stay simple or become deeply polyrhythmic.

Tempo can be set with the knob, Tap Tempo footswitch, expression pedal, MIDI Clock or external pulse clock. The Mod Rex also includes stereo input and output, full MIDI control, 100 storable presets, an external foot controller input (foort controller not included) and a 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter (power adapter included).
