Connect Pedals, Plugins and Your DAW Without Extra Routing Gear
The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface is a stereo digital hardware plugin designed to bridge the gap between physical pedals and software-based effects. It lets you route signal between your DAW, pedalboard and guitar rig over USB-C, without needing special converters or direct boxes.
Hardware Plugin Mode lets you send tracks from your DAW through pedals and external gear as if they were plugins, which is useful for adding real pedal character to guitars, vocals, synths or other recorded parts. Pedalboard Mode works the other way, letting you run your instrument into a DAW, through plugins, and back out to your pedalboard or amp.
It can also operate as a traditional 2-in/2-out USB audio interface, with stereo inputs and outputs, dedicated level control sliders, and a headphone output with volume control. The unit includes a power supply and USB-C cable.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this is best for players and producers who want to integrate pedals and plugins into one flexible studio or stage workflow.
