The Eastman T59/V-RD 16" Deluxe Thinline Hollowbody, features a deluxe laminated Flamed Maple body, Traditional Even C-profile Maple neck, and Ebony fingerboard, providing lightweight playability without skimping on tone. The tightly compressed laminate woods of Eastman's laminated maple bodies and tops dampen down overtones created by solid woods, and lend themselves to perfect tone production in louder environments. Every one of Eastman's laminated thinlines has a center block that runs the length of the body right down the center, which aids in the suppression of feedback and reinforces the top. The incredible resonance of this instrument is further enhanced by a super smooth, super thin Antique Red Varnish finish, which also gives the T59/V a classic vintage aesthetic. 

A pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers are the perfect choice for this instant classic. These boutique authentically aged vintage-output Alnico II pickups, much like the rest of the Eastman T59/V, deliver a vintage aesthetic and tone - fresh out of a time machine from the late '50s. Arguably the closest modern pickup to an original P.A.F., these pickups are built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, where they're wound on Seymour Duncan's original Leesona winding machine, from the early Kalamazoo Gibson factory. The mould for their butyrate bobbins was created by the same factory that built the original P.A.F. mould for Gibson. They're also aged, both cosmetically and magnetically, to simulate the tonal compensation that pickups experience after decades of playing. The neck pickup is mellow and articulate with a sweet, gentle treble and warm, full lows. The bridge pickup is incredibly open and airy - treble slices through the mix without being overly bright, and lows growl with spongy vintage warmth. Besides its premium tonewoods and pickups, the Eastman T59/V has a range of other premium features, such as Jescar fretwire, Gotoh hardware, and Switchcraft and CTS electronics.
