A Wider-Neck F-Style Mandolin with Solid Adirondack Spruce and Maple

The Eastman MD315-A-WN-AB takes the 300 Series F-style format and gives it a wider neck, making it particularly appealing to players who prefer a little more room across the fingerboard. The 30.16 mm (1 3/16") bone nut creates extra separation at the first few frets, which can make chord shapes, double stops and more intricate fretting feel less cramped.

Its F-hole body combines a solid Adirondack spruce top with solid maple back and sides. The maple neck is paired with an ebony fingerboard and 23 Jescar FW37053 frets, while the 352.43 mm (13 7/8") scale keeps the instrument within familiar mandolin proportions. Pearl dot inlays and an ivoroid-bound top add understated traditional detailing beneath the Amberburst Truetone Satin finish.

An adjustable compensated ebony bridge gives you control over setup and intonation, while Eastman’s cast aluminium tailpiece and vintage open-gear tuners keep the hardware straightforward and traditional in character. Nickel hardware rounds out the presentation. An Eastman padded gig bag is included.
