Compact OO Comfort with Hand-Carved Bracing and Antique Varnish Character

The Eastman E10OOSS/V combines a solid Adirondack Spruce top with solid Mahogany back and sides in a compact slope-shoulder OO body. Measuring 374.7 mm (14.75”) across and 101.6 mm (4”) deep, the smaller upper bout, fuller lower bout and thin soundbox make it comfortable for long playing sessions while retaining a responsive acoustic feel. Hand-carved scalloped X-bracing reflects Eastman’s luthier-built approach to the instrument.

The Mahogany neck uses a Traditional Even C profile with an Ebony fingerboard and 304.8 mm (12”) radius. A 628.7 mm (24.75”) scale and 42.9 mm (1.69”) bone nut give the guitar compact, familiar proportions, with 20 Jescar frets completing the playing surface.

Eastman’s hand-rubbed Antique Varnish finish is intentionally aged, with the thin treatment designed to leave the wood’s resonance and response relatively unencumbered while giving the guitar the look and feel of a well-played vintage instrument. Open-gear Antique Nickel tuners, a Firestripe pickguard and Rosewood bridge complete the vintage look. A Hardshell Case is included.
