Eastman DM3 Grande Bouche Solid Top Gypsy Jazz Acoustic Guitar Natural Truetone Satin

Grande Bouche Gypsy Jazz Construction with a Solid Sitka Spruce Top

The Eastman DM3 Grande Bouche is built around a traditional Gypsy jazz format, pairing a solid Sitka spruce top with laminated rosewood back and sides and quarter-sawn ladder spruce bracing. The Natural Truetone Satin finish keeps the presentation understated, while black top binding, a traditional rosette and Gypsy Jazz-style tailpiece give the guitar the visual character expected from this style of instrument.

A maple neck with a Flat D profile is topped with a rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot inlays. The 670 mm (26.38") scale gives the DM3 a relatively long playing platform, while the 44.45 mm (1.75") bone nut provides a little extra room across the strings. Jescar FW43080 fretwire and a dual-action truss rod round out the neck construction.

The traditional rosewood moustache bridge is paired with a nickel Gypsy-style tailpiece, while Gotoh SE770 tuners handle tuning duties. A deluxe padded gig bag is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think the DM3 is a strong fit for players looking for a traditional Grande Bouche acoustic with solid-spruce construction, classic Gypsy-style hardware and a satin finish that keeps the overall feel clean and purposeful.
