The Dunlop 95Q Cry Baby Wah expands the traditional wah format with practical control over feel and output. The integrated Q control adjusts the bandpass shape of the effect, which changes how sharp or wide the sweep sounds. Increasing the Q produces a more pronounced, vocal-style peak, while reducing it softens the contour for a smoother, broader sweep. That adjustment directly affects how the wah sits in a mix and how expressive the pedal feels underfoot.

A built-in Volume Boost offers up to +15dB of added gain, allowing the wah to cut through during solos without relying on an external boost pedal. The Auto-Return function engages the effect as soon as pressure is applied and bypasses it when the foot is lifted, removing the need for a toe switch and streamlining live use.

The 95Q can be powered by a 9-volt battery or compatible 9-volt power supplies (current draw is 1.8mA). This configuration suits players who want flexible tone shaping and immediate on-off response in a single unit.
