All-Solid Rosewood Grand Auditorium With Natural Plugged-In Detail

The Cole Clark CCSAN1EC-RR Studio Series is an all-solid grand auditorium acoustic-electric built for players who want strong acoustic depth and a natural amplified sound. Its A Grade rosewood top, back and sides give the guitar extended bass response and a more traditional acoustic voice, while the grand auditorium body keeps the feel comfortable and balanced compared with larger acoustic shapes.

The 25.5" scale length supports clear string tension and projection, and the African mahogany neck adds a stable, even feel under the fretting hand. Cole Clark's Spanish Heel construction helps the guitar sustain and project up the neck by carrying the neck as a continuous timber structure into the body, giving the Studio Series a different response from guitars using dovetail or bolt-on neck joints.

The PG3 pickup system uses a strip piezo, face sensor and microphone, crossed over so the piezo handles low frequencies, the face sensor handles the mids and highs, and the microphone adds extreme high-frequency detail. This makes the amplified sound more natural than a simple undersaddle-only pickup system. The guitar also receives Plek fret and nut work for clean playability, with a 44mm nut, 12" radius, Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle, Cole Clark machine heads and a heavy duty grey gig bag included.
