All-Solid Camphor Laurel with a Natural, Detailed Plugged-In Voice

The Cole Clark CCSAN1EC-CLCL Studio Series is a Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric built from solid A Grade Camphor Laurel for the top, back and sides. Camphor Laurel delivers a full response across the frequency range, with particularly strong mids and highs, while its distinctive grain gives each guitar plenty of visual character. The mid-sized Grand Auditorium body keeps the guitar comfortable against you, with a 647.7 mm (25.5") scale and 44 mm (1.73") Graph Tech Tusq nut.

An African Mahogany neck, 304.8 mm (12") Rosewood fingerboard and 20 frets give it a familiar, straightforward playing platform, while a Plek setup dresses the frets and cuts the nut under simulated string tension for consistent setup accuracy.

The PG3mk2 pickup system combines a strip piezo, contact sensor and microphone. The piezo handles the lower frequencies, the contact sensor carries the mids, and the microphone enters above 6 kHz, helping the amplified sound retain more of the guitar’s acoustic character. A Poly Satin finish, Rosewood bridge and Spanish Heel construction complete the instrument. A grey Cole Clark heavy-duty gig bag is included.
