The Cole Clark CCRANMGEC-BLBLR Mastergrade Recording Grand Auditorium is built entirely from solid Mastergrade Australian Blackwood, delivering a balanced voice with strong low-end presence and clear, controlled mids. The Recording bracing pattern combines a large X brace with a classical-style T brace, while the 3mm top is internally carved to 2.6mm in selected areas, which increases the responsiveness of the top and allows the guitar to react more quickly to both light fingerstyle and heavier strumming. A smaller soundhole enhances bass response and projection, resulting in this being the loudest acoustic design in Cole Clark's range. This design produces strong acoustic projection with extended bass and controlled midrange clarity, which is great for solo performers and live band settings where natural volume and note separation are essential.

Spanish Heel construction integrates the neck into the body structure, increasing sustain and structural stability compared to bolt-on or dovetail joins. A 25.5″ scale, 44mm nut width and 12″ radius rosewood fingerboard support confident fretting and dynamic strumming. Plek fret dressing ensures consistent action and intonation under string tension.

The PG3 three-way pickup system blends an undersaddle strip piezo in the bridge for low frequencies, a face sensor crossed over at 350Hz for mids, and a microphone engaging at 6kHz for high detail. This configuration delivers a more natural amplified tone with improved feedback control. Finished in natural satin nitrocellulose and supplied with a tweed hardcase.
