Sustainably built 34-inch bass with flexible 18V Aguilar shaping

The Cole Clark LLB4-FMA-AE pairs a bunya pine body with a figured mountain ash cap to deliver clarity with controlled low-end weight. Bunya pine contributes a balanced, resonant foundation, while the figured mountain ash top adds definition and visual depth. A 3-piece Queensland maple neck reinforced with carbon fibre and a two-way truss rod enhances stability across the 34" scale, supporting consistent intonation and long-term reliability.

The River sheoak fingerboard with a 305mm radius and 24 frets provides a smooth surface for modern technique, while 40mm nut width and 19mm bridge spacing create a familiar, comfortable four-string feel. An Aguilar Super Double dual-coil humbucker supplies focused output with strong articulation.

The Aguilar OBP3 18-volt preamp offers extensive tonal control, with boost and cut at 40Hz, selectable mids at 400Hz or 800Hz, and treble shaping at 6.5kHz. Volume with active/passive push-pull, pickup blend and vintage tone operate in both modes, while the three-band EQ engages in active mode for deeper sculpting.
