Taylor Guitars

For Taylor Guitars, we recommend The Guitar Centre at the Gabba (click here to shop all available Taylor Guitars )

We don't currently stock Taylor Guitars at Riffs & Licks Music, but our mates at The Guitar Centre at the Gabba carry a great range of Taylor acoustic guitars, from compact GS Mini models through to premium American-made instruments. If you've landed here looking for a Taylor guitar for sale in Australia, they're well worth checking out.

If you're comparing Taylor with sustainable acoustic guitar brands that we do stock, take a look at Cole Clark and Faith Guitars. Both offer their own distinctive approaches to responsible timber use and acoustic guitar construction, giving you some worthwhile alternatives to compare with Taylor before choosing your next guitar.

About Taylor

Taylor Guitars have built a reputation for combining modern acoustic guitar design with precise manufacturing, comfortable playability and a strong focus on responsible use of natural resources. Founded in 1974, Taylor produces guitars in California and Mexico, with a range spanning accessible instruments for developing players through to premium all-solid acoustic guitars. Innovations such as Taylor's V-Class bracing, easy-playing neck designs and Expression System electronics have helped give the brand a distinctly modern approach to the acoustic guitar.

Sustainability is also a major part of the Taylor story. The company has invested in responsible ebony sourcing and replanting in Cameroon, native Hawaiian koa forest restoration and the use of suitable urban trees that might otherwise enter the waste stream. These initiatives sit alongside efforts to use timber more efficiently and broaden the range of woods considered suitable for guitar making, making Taylor particularly interesting for players who care about where their instrument's materials come from.
