Top-Mounted Bigsby Control for Flat Solid Body Guitars

The Bigsby B500 Licensed Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece in Polished Aluminium is designed for flat top solid body guitars. Based on the original B5, the B500 uses a compact top-mounted design with a tension bar to increase the break angle over the bridge, helping create a firmer string path across flatter guitar bodies.

That firmer break angle suits subtle vibrato on held chords, gentle shimmer on open voicings and controlled pitch movement during melodic phrases. The cast aluminium frame provides the main tailpiece structure, while the stainless steel handle gives the player a smooth point of control for adding expressive movement without aiming for extreme pitch drops.

Mounting hardware is included, with spring, washer, screws and felt pads supplied. The B500 mounts with four supplied screws that attach to the guitar top.
