The Bigsby B16 Vibrato Tailpiece with Bridge and Neck Shim is a polished aluminium vibrato assembly made specifically for Telecaster guitars. First introduced in 1953, the B16 gives a Telecaster a distinctive Bigsby-equipped look, with the bridge pickup housed in the assembly and a floating bridge setup that changes both the feel and visual character of the instrument.

The B16 is designed for smooth, subtle pitch movement, using USA precision-made low-friction needle bearings to help the string mounting bar return accurately to pitch. It also offers more range than a typical Bigsby, making it a strong choice for players who want expressive vibrato without moving to a modern tremolo-style system.

The kit includes a floating aluminium Sorkin bridge with a 304.8 mm (12”) radius, plus a 4.8 mm (3/16”) aluminium neck shim to create the height and neck angle needed for the floating bridge. Mounting hardware is included, with spring, washer, screws and felt pads.
