Firmer Bigsby Break Angle for Archtop and Semi-Hollow Guitars

The Bigsby B12 Vibrato Tailpiece with Tension Bar in Polished Aluminium is designed for archtop solid body and semi-hollow body guitars, including Gibson Les Paul Standard, Gibson Les Paul Custom and Gibson 335 models. Slightly shorter than a B7, the B12 uses a tension bar to increase the break angle over the bridge, giving the strings a firmer path across the bridge than a shallower, non-tension-bar Bigsby setup.

That firmer break angle suits players who want controlled vibrato movement for held chords, clean chord shimmer and subtle pitch movement during melodic phrases. USA precision made low-friction needle bearings help the string mounting bar return accurately to pitch, while the cast aluminium frame and stainless steel handle provide the main structure and control point.

Mounting hardware is included, with spring, washer, screws and felt pads supplied. The supplied screws attach to the guitar top and near the strap button.
