Behringer VT999 Classic Vacuum Tube Overdrive Analogue Pedal

Real 12AX7 Tube Drive with Flexible EQ and Built-In Noise Control

The Behringer VT999 Vintage Tube Monster is an analogue overdrive and distortion pedal built around a hand-selected 12AX7 vacuum tube. Its gain range covers warmer blues-style overdrive through to heavier distortion, while dedicated Gain and Master controls let you set how hard the circuit is driven and balance the final output level.

A three-band EQ gives you direct control over the pedal’s tonal balance, making it easier to shape lows, mids and highs around different guitars, amps and gain settings. The integrated noise gate can be switched in when needed, with an adjustable Threshold control that determines how much signal is required before the gate opens, helping reduce unwanted noise in higher-gain setups.

True hard-wire bypass keeps the effect out of the signal path when switched off, while the status LED shows when the pedal is active. A dedicated power supply is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this tube overdrive pedal is ideal for guitarists who want genuine 12AX7-based drive with broader tone shaping and onboard noise control.
