Behringer VOCODER VC16 High-Resolution 16-Band Vocoder Module For Eurorack

Six Digital Synthesis Engines Feeding a 16-Band Vocoder

The Behringer VOCODER VC16 is a high-resolution 16-band vocoder module for Eurorack with three-voice polyphony and six digital oscillator types. Its onboard synthesis options cover triangle/ramp, square/pulse, multiple wave, noise, Vox and FM sounds across two carrier banks, giving you a broad range of source material for vocoder processing without relying solely on an external carrier.

Carrier Shape provides direct control over the oscillator character, with a Shape CV Attenuverter for modulation from your Eurorack system. Additional Formant, Envelope, Sense, Resonance and Cutoff controls let you adjust how the vocoder responds and how strongly its character is shaped.

A combo XLR/1/4" modulator input accepts microphone or line-level sources with adjustable level, while a separate external carrier input lets you substitute another source. MIDI In, Gate In and CV In provide further control, with Eurorack-level audio output and front-panel USB for firmware updates.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Eurorack vocoder is ideal for modular users who want speech-style processing, onboard digital carrier synthesis and external carrier flexibility in one compact module.
