Behringer VD400 Vintage Delay Analogue BBD Delay Pedal

Classic BBD Delay for Slap-Back, Echo and Short Analogue Repeats

The Behringer VD400 Vintage Delay is an analogue BBD delay pedal that delivers up to 300 ms of delay for everything from tight slap-back echoes to longer, more spacious repeats. Its Bucket Brigade-style circuit gives the repeats the softer, progressively coloured character associated with classic analogue delay designs.

Three dedicated controls keep shaping straightforward. Repeat Rate sets the delay time, Intensity controls how many repeats feed back through the circuit, and Echo adjusts the level of the delayed signal against your dry tone. That makes it easy to move from a single short reflection through to more pronounced repeating echoes.

An onboard noise reduction circuit helps keep the delayed signal under control, while the status LED shows effect operation and battery condition. The electronic On/Off switching is designed to maintain signal integrity when the effect is bypassed.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this analogue delay pedal is ideal for players who want simple hands-on control over vintage-style slap-back and short echo sounds without moving into more complex digital delay functions.
