Analogue flanging with dual-path routing and deep modulation control
The Behringer The Flange With No Name is an analogue flanger built around a delay-driven modulation engine with expanded routing options. At its core, the pedal produces the jet-like sweep and resonant movement associated with classic flanging, shaped by Depth, Rate and Feedback controls. Analogue circuitry contributes a warm, organic response, and a smooth LFO delivers musical modulation from slow, wide sweeps to faster, more animated textures.
The architecture features two audio paths: a clean mono dry output and a separate delay line that can be modulated and shaped independently. This separation allows more precise control than traditional single-path flangers, particularly when using the onboard FX loop or CV integration. With detailed delay and modulation shaping, the unit can move into phaser-style motion, chorus-like shimmer, vibrato, tremolo pulses or self-oscillating effects.
True bypass preserves signal integrity when disengaged, and stereo support expands spatial possibilities for guitar, bass or studio use. Standard 9V DC power ensures straightforward pedalboard integration.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think The Flange With No Name is ideal for players and producers who want classic analogue flanging as a foundation but also need routing flexibility and modulation depth for experimental or studio-focused sound design.
