Reduce Stand-Borne Vibration and Plosives in One Mount

The Behringer SMP2000 is a lightweight suspension shock mount designed for a wide range of large-diaphragm studio and broadcast microphones. Its elastic suspension isolates the microphone from vibrations travelling through the stand, helping reduce unwanted floor thumps, desk knocks and other mechanical rumble before they reach your recording.

A hinged vertical angle adjustment lets you position the microphone precisely for vocals, voiceovers and other recording applications. The standard 5/8" mounting thread provides broad compatibility with microphone boom stands, while the heavy-gauge metal frame gives the suspension system a sturdy foundation.

The included fabric pop filter mounts directly to the shock mount and can be adjusted in height to sit in front of the microphone capsule. It helps reduce plosive bursts from sounds such as “p” and “b”, and can be removed completely when it is not required.
