Behringer SC-RE StageConnect Range Extender

Double StageConnect Cable Runs Without Adding External Power

The Behringer SC-RE is a compact StageConnect range extender designed to double the maximum StageConnect transmission distance from 40 m (130 ft) to 80 m (260 ft). It carries the complete StageConnect connection — up to 32 channels of bidirectional 24-bit audio at 44.1/48 kHz, control data and 12 VDC/18 W remote power — with sub-millisecond latency.

One SC-RE can be used per StageConnect chain, extending the cable run without changing the rest of the system. It works across the StageConnect ecosystem, including WING consoles, StageConnect I/O interfaces, P24 monitoring systems, FLOW stageboxes and computer-connected setups using SC-U.

The extender itself requires no separate power adapter because it is powered through StageConnect. Status LEDs provide operational feedback, while USB-C is provided for firmware updates. Full-metal construction, locking XLR connections and the included metal mounting bracket suit both touring cases and fixed installations.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this StageConnect range extender is ideal when a digital audio system needs to cover longer venue or installation runs without changing its StageConnect workflow.
