The Behringer ECM8000U is a calibrated USB measurement condenser microphone designed for room analysis, studio calibration, monitor alignment, live sound and car audio tuning. Its ultra-linear 6 mm electret capsule uses a true omnidirectional pickup pattern, capturing sound evenly around the microphone so measurement software can analyse the acoustic response of a space or system accurately.

A 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response and 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio provide the resolution needed for detailed measurement work, while high SPL handling accommodates louder calibration signals. The direct USB-C connection removes the need for a separate audio interface or external microphone power.
