Flexible CV Sequencing with Three Independent Step Lanes
The Behringer BQ-10 is a classic-style analogue sequencer that combines Channels A and B as either one 16-step sequence or two independent 8-step sequences, while a separate 8-step Channel C can control another parameter such as filter cutoff or amplitude via CV. That gives you 24 step stages across the three channels, with much more flexibility than a single fixed sequence.
Eight playback modes for Channels A and B include Alternating, Parallel, Series and Random operation, while individual Portamento controls let each channel move smoothly between voltages or jump sharply from step to step. Dedicated trigger outputs on every step can also be patched to Reset, letting you deliberately shorten a sequence without changing the programmed voltages.
The internal clock runs from 20 to 500 bpm, with external Trigger and CV inputs available for synchronisation and rhythmic manipulation. Duty Cycle adjusts overall gate length, while 45 hands-on controls, MIDI transport support and a transferable Eurorack-format main module make the BQ-10 equally useful on a desktop or inside a modular system.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this analogue sequencer is ideal for modular and semi-modular users who want hands-on CV sequencing with flexible routing, independent modulation lanes and plenty of real-time control.
Please Note: This is a sequencer only and does not generate sound.
